During the TSTA project considerable tritium facility decontamination and decommissioning experience was generated.  Personnel from that project also participated in a Mound Site hosted D&D activity.  Following this, Los Alamos has begun hosting an EM-funded Large Scale Demonstration and Deployment Project.  The project seeks to accelerate the deployment of new technologies which will reduce the cost, schedule and risk associated with facility shutdown.  This new project is being jointly managed by the LANL-EM program office and the LANL Fusion Energy Sciences office, along with IT, Corporation.
